This Week

This week has been very stressful. With me having to complete two 750 word narratives and a lot of other homework assignments for other classes, I've barely been getting any sleep at all. I stayed up all night last night for example to get my written assignment done for Math 1160 which was frustrating because I was stuck on a problem that was fairly easy, I was just overthinking the problem. Two nights before that, I stayed up until 3 a.m. to get both of my narratives done. The purpose of this was so I can have more time to proof read my narratives but that didn't happen because assignments from other classes snuck up on me and threw me off of schedule. To prevent a less stressful week, I plan to get most of my assignments done that I have for this week and hope for the best.

I am currently taking Finite Mathematics, or math 1160, this fall and to be honest I'm a little concerned about what this class has in store for me for the semester. I've been hearing rumors from upper class men that this is a tough course having a 40% pass rate which is a little intimidating. So far, it's been a breeze and I'm understanding the concepts more than expected before taking this course. The only thing that is frustrating with this class are the long steps needed to be taken to solve one problem which could take up to 30 minutes. But you have to do what have to do right?

Who Am I?

 Hello, My name is Josh. I am an accounting major here at Western Michigan University and my hobbies are listening to music and hanging out with friends. I am from Kalamazoo, MI and an alumni from Kalamazoo Central high school. I also ran track for Central my junior and senior years of high school. My college experience here at WMU has had it's ups and downs but when those downs start to occur I reflect on my hobbies to raise my spirit. One major pro so far through out my college experience is my roommate, Damian. Though we share different taste in music and other things, we are both willing to work together to meet each others comfort level and we also hang out allowing us to get to know each other more and expand our social circle along the way. I wouldn't want any other roommate.
